SGD South West were delighted to be given the opportunity to draw up a design proposal for the project, with a range of high-end Fire and Electronic Security systems taking centre stage. Our client required a complete solution for the new build distribution centre, able to protect the property and its contents by providing the earliest warning of fire; as well as detect intrusion, provide electronic access for workers and 24hour surveillance through IP HD CCTV.

Our proposal was chosen over the competition thanks to our proven experience in the field and innovative end solution, incorporating 5 networked Gent fire panels and front-end WINMAG graphical user interface. The WINMAG interface by Honeywell transforms how multiple fire and security applications can be managed by the client - an ideal solution for a project on this magnitude. When beginning work on the project, our team worked closely with on-site project management to ensure all installations met the high standards of NSI Gold and British Standards.

To ensure a smooth installation, we took into consideration the building's intricate plans and conducted prior site visits to understand how best to implement the specified systems to the very best of our ability - taking into account how the building was going to be used and what it would contain. All works were completed on time within a 9 month programme.
