Types of Intruder Alarm Systems

There are 2 main types of intruder alarms:
Bells Only - An intruder alarm system capable of activating internal and external sounders in attempt to draw attention from a neighbour or passer by and thus deterring the thief.
Monitored - An intruder alarm system connected to our Alarm Receiving Centre - Southern Monitoring at Waterlooville, Hampshire - both by telephone or radio link. Once an intrusion has been detected through an alarm activation the ARC will determine the type of signals and action these accordingly i.e. alerting the keyholders or police. There are 6 main types of communication - Digital, Redcare, Redcare GSM Dualcom. Dualcom GPRS and Emizon 21.
